PROVO, Utah (March 15, 2011) -- The Utah County Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) would like to invite the public to an Open House for their newest facility at 816 North 980 West in Orem on March 25 from 1 to 3 p.m. The new office features a spacious waiting room, a centralized administrative center with friendly staff, and six examination rooms to minimize waiting time. Stop by and see the new clinic, talk with staff and clients, and see how this nutrition and education program is helping our community. Photo and video opportunities will be provided.
WIC provides supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.
