A Vineyard man was arrested after his wife reported that he sexually assaulted her. He is being held in the Utah County Jail.
On August 9, 2017, at about 8:30 AM, Deputies with the Utah County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call from a woman in Vineyard who reported that her husband had sexually assaulted her. When Deputies arrived the husband was not home. The woman told them that the previous night, August 8, her husband injured her when he held her by the wrist, pulled her into a bedroom, removed her underclothes, and sexually assaulted her. The victim told Deputies that the following morning, August 9, she was in the kitchen when her husband approached her and forcibly pulled her shirt down, exposing her breasts. She said her husband then bit her on one of her breasts. The victim underwent a forensic examination and evidence was found to support her allegation that her husband held her by the wrist the previous night and that he bit her on a breast that morning. Detectives contacted the husband near his place of work and interviewed him. He admitted to behavior consistent with events described by the victim. The suspect, Zhejun "Duke" Wang, age 33, of Vineyard, was arrested by Detectives and booked into the Utah County Jail on one count of Forcible Sexual Abuse, a 2nd degree felony, and one count of Assault-Domestic Violence, a class B misdemeanor. Bail on Wang has been set at $10,000.00 cash only. Agents with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement have also placed a hold on Wang.
