The Utah County Health Department's Tobacco Prevention Program will be giving away free wristbands to EVE on December 28th starting at 1 p.m. to the first 125 tobacco users that bring in their pack of cigarettes or can of chew (which can't be empty) and sign a "Quit Contract."
"The EVE directors are giving us these free wristbands for their 3-day celebration for the New Year that takes place on December 29th to 31st," said Toni Carepenter, UCHD Tobacco Prevention Program manager. "We are excited to work together to encourage tobacco users to make quiting their New Year's resolution." The wrist bands will be distributed at the University Mall Lodge Court (575 E University Parkway, Orem -- courtyard with the fireplace, near the Gap). KZHT will be onsite broadcasting remotely, encouraging Utah County residents to come down and see us.
