Understanding Child Development
Each baby develops in her own individual way and at her own rate but it is important to understand child development and when to be concerned. If a child does not reach certain milestones there may be a problem. If you are concerned at all about your child’s development get it assessed as soon as possible. It is always better to be overcautious than to wait too long. If a child has developmental problems there are programs to help. As a parent, the more you know about child development the more you’ll know what is normal. You will be better able to meet her needs. You will also learn ways to help your child develop to the best of her abilities.

The parent-child relationship is one of the most important you will ever have. It is incredible how that relationship can change a parents’ life. It is both rewarding and challenging. There can be incredible love that binds family members together. What makes each relationship interesting also is how it changes over time, even day to day! Parents might have many questions about development and parenting as they raise a family. Learning about this relationship and strengthen it can be one of the greatest rewards of life.
