While some women look forward to their chance to breastfeed, others may worry about what to expect. These feelings of uncertainty are normal. Not only is breast milk best for baby, but breastfeeding can be an exciting and fulfilling part of motherhood. It can even make your life easier! - Call our warmline to have any breastfeeding questions answered by a lactation support specialist. You can reach us at 851-7312.
- Make a one on one appointment with a lactation support specialist. (These visits usually range from $50-$100 per visit but we offer them FREE).
- Get a free hand pump. Call 851-7312 to get yours.
- Email Email a dietitian trained in breastfeeding with any questions. Our email address is wicdietitian@state.ut.us.
- Borrow an electric breast pump for FREE if you qualify. We have a limited number for those who are working full-time or who have a medical need. Call 851-7312 to see if you qualify.
