Kids Korner Reading for Rides A program created by Michelle from Midway West Carnival to encourage kids to read during the summer, write a short paragraph about what they have read, fill out the form and receive free carnival rides. Free Crafts Betty Memmott and her helpers will be in the craft tent Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 1-5 pm helping kids create fun crafts to take home. FFA Live Farm Animal Exhibit Each day the Maple Hills FFA chapter will be at the Fair to teach kids about farm animals. This will be held in the area east of the Fair Office. Wildlife Trailers East of the Fair Office are several trailers teaching kids about wildlife. Tommy Tomato Come to the demonstration area in the Open Class building for a visit with Tommy Tomato and listen to his tale. Watch out for Smokey Bear. I'm sure he is around somewhere! Jr. Livestock Show FFA and 4-H kids will be showing their cows, hogs and sheep in the cow barn each day. 100 Rabbits They will be here for a great show on Saturday in the cow barn. Small Animal Exhibit These animals will be in the cow barn each day of the Fair. Lego Exhibit Every day in the Open Class building. Other activities include face painting, cake walk and lots of crafts!
